You will need:
- 125g plain white flour
- 75g butter
- 50g brown sugar
- 3 tbsp pumpkins seeds
- 3 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 50g of roughly chopped nuts
- 50g porridge oats
- 4 cooking apples
What to do:
- Peel, core and slice some dessert apples and put them in the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
- Mix the flour, butter, sugar and other ingredients until they become like breadcrumbs, then add the oats, nuts and seeds.
- Tip the dry mix over the apples and bake in the oven for 40 to 45 mins.
Serve with cream, ice cream or custard.
Tip: If you’re using cooking apples, you will need to add 1-2tsp of sugar per apple.
